Ballina Wastewater Treatment Plant Solar Upgrades
Description
Council is seeking to increase existing solar power generating capacity at its Ballina Wastewater Treatment Plant to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to design, supply, deliver, install, test and commission a new 600kW solar PV system.
There is an existing 300kW ground mounted solar system. The system was installed in 2014 and consists of 1200 solar panels, producing approximately 450,000 kWh/year.
The new system shall consist of;
โข a new 50kW roof mounted system to be installed on the Main Building
โข a new 550kW ground mounted system to be installed on the existing ground mounts and replace the existing 300kW system
