Description

Published by Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology. Procuring Entity: Project Director, Establishment of Physical Protection System Project of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, NSPC.. (i) The work includes 1729 CUM of earthwork excavation, mass concrete in foundation and floor of about 546 CUM. It also includes sand filling (FM 2.2) of about 91165 CUM including layer by layer mechanical compaction and placing of geo textile sheet of 43300 SQM.
(ii) The job also involves providing and installing steel centering and shuttering, along with all necessary strutting and propping to maintain stability and accuracy during concrete casting. About 1725 CUM of Reinforced cement concrete (RCC) work will be executed using a 1:1:2 mix proportion, ensuring a minimum characteristic compressive strength of 40 MPa at 28 days and a target mean strength (fโ€™cr) of at least 50 MPa, following all relevant standards and specifications.

(iii) Additionally, the scope includes the supply, fabrication and installation of deformed bar reinforcement as per the approved design drawings, ensuring correct placement, spacing and anchorage to maintain overall structural integrity. Relocation of existing fencing work is also included into the work scope.

(iv) Detail scope of work is explained in the BOQ of Tender Document. Procurement Method: NCT Open Tendering Method. Budget and Source of Funds: Development Budget GOB. Eligibility Requirements: i) All reputed contractors or construction firms having a minimum ten (10) years of general experience in land development, construction works, site preparation or reinforcement works either as a Prime Contractor, Subcontractor, or Management Contractor, are eligible to participate, provided they meet the Qualification Criteria specified in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS) of the Tender Document. The years of experience will be counted backward from the date of publication of the Invitation for Tender (IFT) in the newspaper.

ii) The Tenderer must have specific experience as a Prime Contractor, Subcontractor, or Management Contractor in construction/ Land development/ Filling works of similar nature. The Tenderer shall have successfully completed at least three (03) contracts of similar nature, each with a minimum value of BDT 26.25 Crore within the last five (05) years. The years will be counted backward from the date of publication of the IFT in the newspaper.

iii) The tenderer must have Average Annual Construction Turnover (AACT) of BDT 50.75 Crore. AACT will be calculated on the period of best (5) Five years in the last (10) Ten financial years.

iv) The tenderer must have the liquid asset or working capital of BDT 30.50 Crore and the minimum capacity shall be BDT 26.90 Crore.
