Aninver Development Partners SL (www.aninver.com) is looking for a Especialista ASG / Sostenibilidad for a monitoring evaluation consultancy assignment financed by BCIE - Banco Centroamericano de Integracion Economica in Honduras.

Aninver Development Partners is preparing a consulting proposal for the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE) in Honduras, focusing on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) monitoring and evaluation. We are seeking an expert Especialista ASG / Sostenibilidad to join our team for this strategic initiative.

The assignment centers on evaluating current institutional frameworks, diagnosing data management practices, and recommending specialized technological solutions for ESG reporting and impact monitoring. The selected expert will play a critical role in shaping the roadmap for sustainable development and data governance within the institution.

Aninver is preparing a proposal for this assignment. The selected expert will be part of the proposed team; the engagement is conditional on the contract being awarded to Aninver. The full Terms of Reference for the position are shared with shortlisted candidates.

Objectives of the assignment

• Conduct a comprehensive institutional diagnosis of current ESG information management practices.
• Perform a detailed gap analysis regarding data governance, methodologies, and operational processes.
• Analyze international standards, frameworks, and best practices applicable to ESG reporting.
• Evaluate specialized technological solutions available in the international market for ESG management.
• Develop a robust business case and strategic roadmap for future system implementation.

Scope of work

• Execute project planning, methodology definition, and kick-off coordination with institutional stakeholders.
• Carry out institutional diagnostics through document reviews, interviews, and workshops with key internal areas.
• Assess existing indicators, data sources, reporting mechanisms, and operational bottlenecks.
• Analyze and benchmark international technological solutions for ESG monitoring and data tracking.
• Prepare functional and technical requirements for the future ESG monitoring and evaluation system.
• Formulate a preliminary data governance framework covering validation processes, traceability, and quality assurance.

Your role as Especialista ASG / Sostenibilidad

• Lead the assessment of environmental, social, and governance policies, indicators, and impact measurement frameworks.
• Apply technical knowledge of international standards such as GRI, TCFD, TNFD, and IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards.
• Collaborate with technical and managerial teams to map out data flows and reporting requirements.
• Contribute ESG expertise to the institutional diagnosis and identification of operational gaps.
• Support the evaluation and comparative analysis of specialized technological alternatives for sustainability management.
• Assist in drafting the business case, expected benefits, risks, and critical success factors for the proposed system.
• Contribute to the development of the preliminary ESG data governance framework and implementation roadmap.

Requirements

• Education: Licenciatura o maestría en sostenibilidad, ciencias ambientales, ingeniería ambiental, finanzas sostenibles, políticas públicas, regulación internacional, derecho ambiental o disciplinas afines
• Mínimo siete (7) años de experiencia profesional en temas ambientales, sociales, de gobernanza, sostenibilidad, financiamiento sostenible o gestión de impacto en el sector público, privado o financiero
• Participación en al menos tres (3) proyectos relacionados con indicadores ASG, reportes de sostenibilidad, monitoreo de impacto, gestión de información ASG o sistemas de seguimiento de resultados
• Conocimiento técnico de estándares y marcos internacionales aplicables (GRI, TCFD, TNFD, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, TOSSD, ESG)
• Languages: Español

Desirable

• Previous experience working with multilateral development banks or international financial institutions in the region.
• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives applied to sustainability data systems.

An experienced ESG and sustainability professional with a strong background in international reporting frameworks and impact monitoring systems within financial or public sectors in Honduras.
