  • Establish effective national coordination mechanisms and deliver targeted training to build local facilitation capacity.
  • Provide ongoing backbone support to ensure long-term autonomy and sustainability of the supported networks.

  • Organize and facilitate participatory workshops, focus groups, and co-design sessions with local Women in Tech communities and ecosystem actors.
  • Support the localization and contextualization of governance models, operational procedures, and value offerings for target communities.
  • Assist in gathering data for inception, baseline, and landscape analyses related to the technology and innovation sector.
  • Coordinate closely with the Team Leader and international experts to ensure seamless implementation of capacity-building activities.
  • Monitor local project activities, track milestones, and contribute to regular narrative and progress reporting for Enabel.
  • Facilitate linkages between community advocacy initiatives and local institutional partners, addressing barriers such as online safety and market access.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in social sciences, law, development studies, business administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in community facilitation, network development, or multi-stakeholder collaboration in Uganda.
  • Strong background in institutional capacity building, organizational development, or participatory strategy facilitation within the tech or NGO sector.
  • Familiarity with gender equality and women's empowerment initiatives, particularly regarding women in technology.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trust among diverse community actors.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), alongside proficiency in local languages relevant to the assignment context.
