Aninver Development Partners SL (www.aninver.com) is looking for a Multilingual Community Onboarding and Engagement Specialist for a gender, law consultancy assignment financed by Enabel in Tanzania.

Aninver Development Partners is preparing a proposal for an upcoming consulting assignment in Tanzania funded by Enabel. The programme focuses on developing a continental Women in Tech community platform and executing an EU-Africa venture sourcing, investor-readiness, and matchmaking workstream to support women entrepreneurs in the technology sector.

We are seeking a qualified Multilingual Community Onboarding and Engagement Specialist to drive community outreach, user acquisition, and active engagement across the country. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring high adoption rates and vibrant participation among women-led tech ventures and local ecosystem stakeholders.

Aninver is preparing a proposal for this assignment. The selected expert will be part of the proposed team; the engagement is conditional on the contract being awarded to Aninver. The full Terms of Reference for the position are shared with shortlisted candidates.

Objectives of the assignment

• Execute targeted community onboarding and engagement strategies for women-led tech ventures in Tanzania.
• Drive active participation, user retention, and vibrant interaction within the deployed digital community platform.
• Coordinate closely with ecosystem stakeholders, institutional partners, and regional project teams.
• Support data layer integration and barometer tracking to measure community engagement and impact.

Scope of work

• Finalizing stakeholder mapping and engagement plans for the community platform.
• Executing targeted outreach and onboarding strategies to drive participation among women-led tech ventures.
• Facilitating multilingual community interactions and moderation in alignment with platform standards.
• Collaborating with technical teams to ensure user feedback is integrated into platform improvements.
• Supporting venture sourcing and matchmaking activities through effective community communication.
• Contributing to periodic reporting, monitoring, and knowledge transfer activities.

Your role as Multilingual Community Onboarding and Engagement Specialist

• Lead the design and implementation of the community onboarding and engagement strategy in Tanzania.
• Identify, reach out to, and onboard key women-led tech ventures, founders, and ecosystem actors onto the platform.
• Facilitate community discussions, virtual events, and networking sessions to maintain high user activity.
• Gather user feedback to improve platform features, user experience, and member satisfaction.
• Coordinate with technical and project management teams to resolve onboarding bottlenecks and user issues.
• Monitor community metrics and contribute to regular reporting on user growth and engagement levels.

Requirements

• Education: At least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Professional working proficiency in English and Kiswahili
• Languages: English and Kiswahili

Desirable

• Previous experience working with women-led enterprises or technology networks in Tanzania.
• Familiarity with digital community platforms and mobile-first communication tools.

An enthusiastic community engagement professional with strong linguistic skills in English and Kiswahili, and a proven track record of onboarding and activating members in digital tech or entrepreneurship ecosystems.
