  • Map institutional mandates, regulatory frameworks, and operational responsibilities across national, regional, and municipal levels.
  • Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models to evaluate alternative trajectories for sector expansion and financial sustainability.
  • Integrate climate change risks, climate finance opportunities, and Public-Private Partnership potentials into sector development models.
  • Formulate a prioritized, costed, and actionable National WASH Investment Programme and associated financing strategies.
  • Organize and facilitate national consultation workshops, multi-stakeholder dialogues, and validation sessions.

Your role as Senior Economist

  • Lead the overall economic and fiscal analysis components of the Public Expenditure Review.
  • Analyze tariff structures, subsidy mechanisms, and pro-poor targeting of public expenditures.
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate economic findings into strategic scenario models and long-term financial projections.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the costed National WASH Investment Programme and sustainable financing strategies.
  • Provide multi-country leadership and ensure high-quality deliverables in compliance with donor and institutional guidelines.
  • Engage with national ministries, regulatory agencies, and key sector stakeholders during consultations and validation workshops.
