Згідно статті 23 Закону України «Про реабілітацію осіб з інвалідністю в Україні» та пункту 18 Індивідуальної програми реабілітації інваліда, затвердженої наказом МОЗ України від 08.10.2007 №623, особа з інвалідністю бере участь у виборі конкретних технічних та інших засобів реабілітації, виробів медичного призначення в межах ІПР.
