Selection of a contractor for the preparation of a comprehensive report on conformity assessment with the basic requirements for construction and technical control of the "Structural" part and for exercising construction supervision during the construction of the object: "Construction of a new agricultural overpass at km 490+860 of republican road I-6 "Sofia-Burgas" in the section Vетрен-Burgas"

The subject of this public procurement is the "Selection of a contractor for the preparation of a comprehensive report on conformity assessment with the basic requirements for construction and technical control of the "Structural" part and for exercising construction supervision during the construction of the object: "Construction of a new agricultural overpass at km 490+860 of republican road I-6 "Sofia-Burgas" in the section Vетрен-Burgas". The objective of the public procurement is for the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) to select a contractor and conclude a contract with them for the preparation of a comprehensive report on conformity assessment with the basic requirements for construction and technical control of the "Structural" part and for exercising construction supervision during the construction of the object, in order to improve the technical and operational characteristics of the section by constructing a new facility, achieving uniformity of the road surface, which will ensure optimal travel speed and safe traffic conditions on the road section, reduce the number of traffic accidents and travel time, in accordance with regulatory requirements and within the agreed deadlines. 1. Current situation: In 2021, the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) began the implementation of the object: "Burgas Bypass Road from km 230+700 of road I-9 Sarapovo - Burgas to km 493+550 of road I-6 Vетрен-Burgas and local lanes". In the course of construction, numerous objections were received from farmers in the area regarding the technical project's provisions for the Northern Bypass of Burgas, which involved the removal of an existing agricultural overpass and the construction of a full cloverleaf interchange in its place, connecting the bypass to the existing route of road I-6 "Sofia – Burgas". The above necessitates the development of a technical project for an agricultural overpass to ensure access to the arable land. Following a joint study with the Municipality of Burgas on the possibilities for locating the new facility, linked to the existing field roads for access to the adjacent territories, it was determined that the most suitable location for the overpass would be approximately at km 490+860. The subject of the public procurement includes a description of the activities under the procurement, as follows: A) Stage I - Preparation of a Comprehensive Report on Conformity Assessment with the Basic Requirements for Construction and Technical Control of the "Structural" part of the project documentation: B) Stage II - Exercising Construction Supervision during the execution of construction, in accordance with the requirements of the Spatial Development Act (ZUT) and its subordinate regulations. C) Stage III - Exercising Construction Supervision during the rectification of defects that appear during the warranty periods. D) All other obligations necessary for the execution of the subject of the public procurement, specified in the present documentation and its annexes, as well as those specified in the design and construction contract and legal provisions. *IMPORTANT!
