(6) Bidding Method: The bid amount shall be based on the unit price for contract power (basic charge unit price, kW unit price) and the unit price for electricity consumption (energy charge unit price, kWh unit price) set by each company, and shall be the total amount for the scheduled contract power and scheduled electricity consumption presented by this office. Furthermore, at the time of bidding, adjustments for fuel price fluctuations related to power generation costs and levies based on the Act on Special Measures for Procurement of Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources by Electricity Retailers shall not be considered. When determining the successful bidder, the successful bid price shall be the amount obtained by adding 10% of the amount stated in the bid form to that amount (if there is a fraction of less than one yen, that fraction shall be rounded down). Therefore, bidders shall state in their bid form an amount equivalent to 100/110 of their estimated desired contract amount, regardless of whether they are taxable or tax-exempt business operators for consumption tax and local consumption tax.
