Qualifications Required for Bidders: Bidders must meet all of the following conditions and the conditions specified in the bidding documents. (1) For Single Company: Order Type: Paving Work ・Must be registered in the grade indicated in the left column for the order type indicated in the left column of the Fukushima Prefecture Construction Contract Qualification Register valid for the fiscal year in which the bid opening date falls. Grade: A Licensed Industry: Paving Industry ・Must hold a license for the industry indicated in the left column of the Construction Industry Act (1949, Act No. 100). Regional Requirements: Within the Prefecture ・"Within the prefecture" means having the head office within Fukushima Prefecture. ・"Adjacent 3 districts" means having the head office or a branch/business office* within the Soma Construction Office district, the Kenpoku Construction Office district, the Kenchu Construction Office district (limited to within Tamura City or Tamura District), or the Iwaki Construction Office district. ・"Within the district" means having the head office or a branch/business office* within the Soma Construction Office district. * Branch/business office refers to a branch/business office of a company with its head office within the prefecture (prefectural company) that is designated as a 委任先 (delegated entity) in the Fukushima Prefecture Construction Contract Qualification Register valid for the fiscal year in which the bid opening date falls. Engineer's Construction Experience: ・Must be able to assign a supervising engineer or chief engineer with construction experience (as a placement engineer) indicated in the left column to the construction site on a full-time basis. (However, full-time assignment is not required if the contract amount is less than 45 million yen (less than 90 million yen for architectural works) or if Article 26, Paragraph 3, proviso of the Construction Industry Act applies.) ・Construction experience refers to experience as a placement engineer (including experience at companies other than the currently employed one) in work directly commissioned by the client (limited to works commissioned by the client as the prime contractor (in the case of a JV, only if a member with a contribution ratio of 20% or more; in the case of phased construction, only if the divided work falls under the indicated construction; also limited to public works (excluding works of the type of architectural works, electrical equipment works, or heating, ventilation, and sanitary equipment works). Public works here refer to works commissioned by the client as defined in the Act on Promotion of Fair Bidding and Contracts for Public Works (as of the time of the record), the Land Development Public Corporation, the Local Road Public Corporation, the Local Housing Supply Corporation, the Sewerage Corporation, the Land Readjustment Association, the Urban Redevelopment Association, the Land Improvement District, Fukushima Medical University Public University Corporation, or the University of Aizu Public University Corporation.
