1. Subject: Purchase of Protective Clothing for Contamination, etc.
2. Purpose: These specifications define the specifications for the purchase of protective clothing for contamination, etc., to be used within controlled areas at the Fugen Advanced Thermal Reactor Prototype (hereinafter referred to as "Fugen") of the National Research and Development Agency, Japan Atomic Energy Agency (hereinafter referred to as "the Agency"), with the aim of ensuring thorough radiation management.
3. Delivery Date: January 29, Reiwa 9 (Friday)
4. Delivery Location: Designated location within the premises of the Fugen Advanced Thermal Reactor Prototype, National Research and Development Agency, Japan Atomic Energy Agency, 3 Myojin-cho, Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture.
5. Specifications and Quantity of Purchased Items: The purchased items shall satisfy the following specifications.
5.1 Purchased Items: As shown in the Purchase Item Breakdown Table.
Please refer to Attachment Figure-1 for the external view of the protective clothing.
5.2 Quantity: Protective clothing 5,000 pieces, High Ionic Flow 4 bottles.
5.3 Structure:
(1) Durable, lightweight, and easy to move in.
(2) Structure that is resistant to contamination by radioactive materials on the surface.
(3) Easy to put on and take off.
5.4 Material:
(1) Fabric (entire body): High-performance film laminated non-woven fabric, PP spunbond 50g/㎡ (equivalent to or better than Tyvek 1422A type).
The fabric color shall be white and opaque.
(2) Zipper (front): YKK all-resin zipper. (With ring, approx. 70cm, ring diameter approx. 2cm)
(3) Elastic cord: Rayon 6-cord elastic. (White)
Waist (sides and back), hood (visor, cheeks, back) shall all be rayon 6-cord elastic.
(4) Elastic band (cuffs and hem): NO18, 2mm width cut.
5.5 Manufacturing Conditions:
(1) Sewing thread: Spun NO60 (8-10 stitches per 3cm).
(2) Seam stitching: Interlock.
(3) Sewing shall be meticulous and firm, with no puckering, skipped stitches, or thread breakage.
(4) Remove thread scraps.
(5) Cuffs and hem shall be folded and gathered with elastic.
(6) The hood shall not interfere with wearing a helmet.
5.6 Packaging:
(1) 50 pieces per PE bag, packed in a cardboard box.

8. Delivery Conditions: Delivered by the contractor.
9. Inspection Conditions: Inspection will be completed upon confirmation of the following at the supervision site:
① The delivered items conform to the specifications and quantity, and there are no abnormalities in the appearance of the procured products specified in Article 5.
10. Inspection Location: Safety and Quality Assurance Department, Safety Management Division, Fugen Advanced Thermal Reactor Prototype, National Research and Development Agency, Japan Atomic Energy Agency, 3 Myojin-cho, Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture.
11. Regarding the Green Purchasing Law:
(1) If there are any items subject to the Green Purchasing Law among the items purchased under these specifications, such items shall be purchased.
(2) If there are any submitted documents (excluding user manuals attached to the product, etc.) for this contract, they shall be submitted in a manner that meets the standards for "paper products" stipulated in the basic policy of the Green Purchasing Law.
12. Other: Matters not specified in these specifications or doubts arising shall be resolved through consultation with the Agency.
