We will conduct general competitive bidding as follows, and hereby announce it in accordance with the provisions of Article 167-6, Paragraph 1 of the Local Autonomy Act (Cabinet Order No. 16 of 1947).

1. Matters for Competitive Bidding
(1) Goods Number: Sale (Kan) - No. 4

2. Bid Participation Qualifications
(1) Those who do not fall under the provisions of Article 167-4 of the Local Autonomy Act.
(2) Those who have no arrears in municipal taxes.
3. Bid Participation Method
When participating in the bidding, please read the "Bidding Guidelines" thoroughly.
You can participate after applying before the bidding, as described in the application method.
4. Inspection Date for Sale Property
Those who wish to participate in the bidding and wish to inspect the property should contact the Owani Town Planning and Tourism Division (0172-55-6561) in advance.
5. Inquiries
Inquiries regarding the specifications of the bidding property will be answered by the Owani Town Planning and Tourism Division.
6. Application Acceptance
From October 27, Reiwa 8 (Tuesday) to November 4, Reiwa 8 (Wednesday)

* The name written on the application form will be the name of the party concluding the sales contract and the registered owner.
If you wish to have a joint name, please apply jointly.

9. Bidding and Bid Opening Period
(1) Date and Time: November 11, Reiwa 8 (Wednesday) from 9:00 AM
(2) Location: Owani Town Hall, 4th Conference Room
10. Method of Determining Successful Bidder
As a result of the bid opening, the highest bidder among those who bid at or above the town's sale price will be determined as the successful bidder.
If there are two or more bidders with the same highest bid, the successful bidder will be determined by lottery.
11. Bidding Method, etc.
(1) Bidders shall write the necessary information on the bid form, sign and seal it, and place it in an envelope.
(2) For the determination of the successful bidder, the amount written on the bid form will be the contract amount. Therefore, bidders shall write the amount including consumption tax and local consumption tax in the bid form, regardless of whether they are a taxable or tax-exempt business for consumption tax.
(Consumption tax and local consumption tax equivalent to 10% will be applied.)
(3) The amount written on the bid form is the acquisition cost of the property and does not include any other expenses.
(4) Submitted bid forms cannot be exchanged, changed, or canceled for any reason.
(5) The bid security shall be an amount not less than 5/100 of the estimated amount.
(6) The number of bids is one.
(7) Bidding will take place even if there is only one bidder.
(8) Bids will be opened immediately after submission in front of the bidders.
12. Invalid Bids
Bids falling under any of the following categories shall be invalid:
(1) Bids submitted by persons who do not have the qualifications to participate in the bidding.
(2) Bids submitted with false information in the application form or related documents.
(3) Bids with errors or illegible characters in the amount, name, seal impression, or important text, or bids with corrected amounts.
(4) Bids submitted without bid security.
(5) Bids that violate other bidding conditions.
13. Sale Estimated Price: 18,000 yen (including consumption tax and local consumption tax)
14. Contract Conclusion Date, etc.
(1) Contract Conclusion Date: Within 7 days from the date of successful bid.
(2) Contract Location: Owani Town Hall, Planning and Tourism Division, Property Management Section.
(3) Items to bring: Seal, Bid Security Refund Request Form.
(4) If the successful bidder fails to conclude the contract, the bid will be invalid.
15. Payment Method for Purchase Price
(1) The purchase price must be paid within 30 days from the date of contract conclusion.
If the contract security is to be applied to the purchase price, the difference between the purchase price and the contract security will be paid.
If the purchase price is not paid by the deadline and the sales contract is canceled, the contract security will revert to the town. If the deadline falls on a holiday, the payment deadline will be the preceding weekday.
(2) The purchase price cannot be paid in installments.
(3) If the purchase price is not paid by the deadline, the contract will be canceled.
16. Property Handover
(1) Handover will be made at the location designated by the town promptly after payment of the purchase price.
(2) The property is sold as-is, and no compensation will be provided for malfunctions or breakdowns after handover.
(3) The successful bidder is responsible for the cost and burden of removing the vehicle from the storage location.
