Regarding the trial implementation of "Invalid Bid due to Inability to Assign Technician" (Limited to Electrical Works and Machinery Installation Works)
Although we do not allow withdrawal of bids after submitting a bid form, we are conducting a trial for electrical works and machinery installation works, which frequently experience tender failures due to technician shortages. Under the condition that the bidder becomes a successful bidder for another project and is unable to assign the planned technician to this bid project, we will invalidate the bid and will not apply the tender participation restriction of not being able to participate in the city's tenders for one month. However, this trial implementation is limited to "Electrical Works" and "Machinery Installation Works" for which the Finance Bureau Contract Department concludes contracts.
"Notification of Inability to Assign Technician" Submission Method
After bid opening, submit the "Notification of Inability to Assign Technician" (form is on the last page) via email to the construction site management department by the deadline for submitting the tender participation qualification application form, and confirm receipt by phone.
Even for electrical works and machinery installation works, those who do not submit the said notification, do not submit a tender participation qualification application form, or submit an incomplete tender participation qualification application form will be restricted from participating in the city's tenders for one month thereafter.
Note: The handling shown in the diagram below is limited to "Electrical Works" and "Machinery Installation Works" for which the Contract Department concludes contracts.
