Matters Not Specified in the Specifications: These specifications indicate the general scope of cleaning services. For matters not specifically defined or in case of doubt, the matter shall be resolved through consultation between the client and the contractor. 7. Preparation Before Commencing Work: The contractor shall, in advance, grasp the outline of the facility, hold sufficient consultations with facility staff, and efficiently and safely carry out the work in accordance with their instructions. 8. Designation of Responsible Person: The contractor shall designate one person from among the work personnel as the person in charge to supervise the work. The work shall be carried out in close communication with the facility staff. 9. Attire: Work personnel shall wear attire designated by the contractor and wear a nameplate on their chest. 10. Division of Expenses: Machinery, equipment, materials, and tools required for cleaning shall be borne by the contractor. The cost of electricity, gas, and water shall be borne by the client. However, when using these, efforts shall be made to conserve and use them efficiently. 11. List of Work Personnel: From the perspective of facility security, the contractor shall submit a list of work personnel and their supervisors. This shall also apply in case of personnel changes. 12. Work Implementation Plan: The contractor shall establish an annual or monthly work plan and submit a work implementation plan for confirmation within 14 days of the contract conclusion. 13. Report of Accidents or Abnormalities: If the contractor damages buildings or equipment during cleaning work, or discovers any abnormalities, they shall immediately contact city staff. 14. Precautions: When carrying out the work, the contractor shall pay attention to the following to avoid hindering the client's operations. (1) Do not scatter dust or debris. (2) Ensure no areas are left uncleaned. (3) Do not place cleaning tools on office equipment, fixtures, or other items. (4) Do not use highly flammable chemicals. (5) When performing work involving water, take care not to splash water on people, equipment, or other items. (6) When using keys, etc., handle them with care and use them only for the necessary time and location. 15. Work Completion Report: Upon completion of the work, an inspection shall be conducted with the presence of staff (e.g., principal), and a "Work Completion Report" shall be submitted. 16. Payment of Contract Fee: Payment shall be made upon completion. 17. Consumption Tax: If the amount of consumption tax or local consumption tax changes due to amendments to the Consumption Tax Act (Showa 63, Act No. 108) or other laws after the conclusion of this contract, the client shall pay the contract amount plus or minus the corresponding consumption tax amount without any modification to the contract. However, if the tax law provides for transitional measures, those measures shall take precedence. 18. Subcontracting: If any part of this work is to be subcontracted to a third party, the content of the subcontracted work, the name of the subcontractor, and the reason for subcontracting must be clearly stated, and written approval must be obtained from Kawagoe City in advance.
