Стандартні характеристики, вимоги, умовні позначення у вигляді скорочень та термінологія, пов’язана з товарами, роботами чи послугами, що закуповуються, передбачені існуючими міжнародними або національними стандартами, нормами та правилами, викладаються мовою їх загальноприйнятого застосування.
