Изборът на оператор по реда на ЗОП е предвидено да се осъществи, съгласно конкретните изисквания на нормативната уредба (ЗУО, Наредба № 6 от 27 август 2013 г. за условията и изискванията за изграждане и експлоатация на депа и на други съоръжения и инсталации за оползотворяване и обезвреждане на отпадъци), свързани с: екологосъобразно управление и третиране на отпадъците; безопасна експлоатация на клетка № 2 и съпътстващите съоръжения и инсталации; процедури за извършване на контрол, мониторинг и отчетност на дейностите; осигуряване на здравословни и безопасни условия на труд; извършване на дейностите от квалифициран и обучен персонал, ангажиран с експлоатацията на клетка 2 на Регионалното депо Изпълнението на договора за обществената поръчка ще се финансира със средства от постъпленията от такса „битови отпадъци“ на общини Ямбол, Сливен, Нoва Загора, Тунджа и Стралджа.
