Digital transformation actions of the Municipality of Igoumenitsa Group I

Action 1. Smart controlled parking system The proposed Project concerns the design, development, installation, and operational support of an integrated intelligent controlled parking system for the Municipality of Igoumenitsa. The system will allow: 1. Real-time information for drivers on parking availability, via mobile applications 2. Future capability for multiple payment channels and purchase of parking time: electronically via mobile applications, with cash or/and by using cards at physical points of sale (minimarkets, kiosks, etc.) via POS terminals 3. Digitization of municipal police checks and fine issuance. Municipal police checks will be targeted using intelligent mobile devices that will receive real-time violation data. 4. Fully digitized management of permanent resident permits. 5. Complete control of controlled parking with a wealth of real-time data in a central system (dashboard). Action 8: Organization of Traffic Office and Management of Municipal Vehicle Fleet The platform must support all functions of the Traffic Office related to the monitoring and maintenance of the Municipality's vehicle fleet. Using the platform will achieve the complete digitization of the Traffic Office's procedures, such as real-time tracking of vehicle movements and routes taken, checking compliance with schedules and execution of routes, maintaining detailed registers of drivers and vehicles, maintaining a complete history of vehicles and drivers, and digital issuance of movement logs. Action 14. Digital Platform for Vulnerable Groups Management The subject of the action and this specific project is to be the most important and fastest channel for informing and serving the citizens of the Municipality with the prompt response to related requests, as well as their two-way communication with the services that provide social benefits. More specifically, with this action, the Municipality will be able to collect, check, and manage information and a series of data concerning the Welfare Services it offers. The aim is for this project to be the sole and unified record of beneficiaries receiving social support in any structure of the Municipality or its legal entities, as well as the management and interconnection of long-term services and welfare benefits specifically targeted at these citizens. Action 28. Digitization of local cultural heritage (ownership and possession of which belongs to the municipality) Development of a mobile application and website for promoting the gastronomy of the Igoumenitsa Municipality region (traditional dishes, desserts, and drinks) using augmented reality technologies. Through the application and the web portal, local traditional dishes, drinks, and desserts will be presented, for which detailed information will be provided regarding the ingredients used, the recipe, photos, and videos of the preparation method. For selected items, their three-dimensional copy will be displayed via augmented reality on the user's table. The application will also present relevant information about local gastronomy, attractions, and suggested gastronomic routes.
