The scope, volume and requirements for the execution of the public procurement for the designated position are described and regulated in the Technical Specification, PART 2 of the participation documentation. The activities under the subject of the procurement for the designated position, if applicable, shall be carried out in accordance with the special requirements of the Waste Management Act (WMA), the Environmental Protection Act (EPA) and all other regulations governing the transport (collection), including the disposal of hazardous hospital waste – Ordinance No. 2 of 23.07.2014 on the classification of waste, Ordinance No. 1 of 04.06.2014 on the procedure and forms for providing information on waste management activities, as well as the procedure for maintaining public registers, Ordinance on the requirements for the treatment and transport of production and hazardous waste, Ordinance No. 40 of 14.01.2004 on the conditions and procedure for the road transport of dangerous goods, Ordinance No. 1 of 09.02.2015 on the requirements for the collection and treatment of waste within healthcare and medical facilities. The activities for the designated position will be carried out periodically. The quantities of waste specified in the Technical Specification for the designated position are indicative/forecast and depend on the activities carried out by VMA and the waste generated by the structures, up to the maximum financial framework of the contract. The Contracting Authority is not obliged to reach the entire quantity and/or all nomenclatures. The Contracting Authority reserves the right, if necessary: - to change the quantities of hospital waste specified in the Technical Specification for the designated position, according to its needs; - to refuse activities for the transport and treatment of certain types of waste included in the specification for the designated position, in case of changes in the regulatory framework, structural changes in VMA, as well as in case of elimination of the need for treatment of a specified type of waste; - to request activities for the transport and treatment of new types of waste that are not included in the technical specification for the designated position, but are in fulfillment of the subject of the public procurement; * "New types" means: treatment of types of waste equivalent/similar to those included in the Technical Specification.
