Αντικείμενο της παρούσας σύμβασης αποτελεί η προμήθεια χωμάτινου υλικού επικάλυψης, για τις ανάγκες του Χ.Υ.Τ.Α. Λαμίας. Μέχρι σήμερα οι ανάγκες σε εδαφικό υλικό επικάλυψης καλύπτονταν από προμήθεια η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε μέσω αντίστοιχης διαγωνιστικής διαδικασίας. Οι ποσότητες του εδαφικού αυτού υλικού της ανωτέρω προμήθειας στο Χ.Υ.Τ.Α. Λαμίας, αναμένεται να εξαντληθούν το προσεχές χρονικό διάστημα. Συνεπώς κρίνεται απαραίτητο και αναγκαίο να προκηρυχτεί διεθνής διαγωνισμός για την προμήθεια συνολικής ποσότητας εξήντα χιλιάδων κυβικών μέτρων (60.000 m3) χωμάτινου υλικού επικάλυψης για τον Χ.Υ.Τ.Α.
