1. Analysis and prospecting in foreign investment and talent

The General Directorate for Investment and Talent Attraction needs to procure analytical services to support the identification of business projects with high economic value for the city and for talent acquisition. The search should target potential foreign investors as well as foreign companies already operating in Madrid that are considering reinvestments or expansions in the short or medium term. In addition to potential investment projects, the analysis and search should also focus on identifying potential collaborators for the General Directorate (universities, investment agencies, or other institutions) and identifying sectors with the greatest potential for talent attraction. To achieve the proposed objectives, it will be necessary to understand the behavior and trends of foreign direct investment (hereinafter FDI) globally, in Europe, in Spain, and, of course, in Madrid. This requires access to, knowledge of, and use of existing databases. Expert knowledge of the main source markets for foreign investment and the types of projects being undertaken will also be necessary. Operations of investment funds and venture capital funds, both national and foreign, and understanding their motivations and expectations, will also be realities for which advanced knowledge will be required. Relevant technical information, such as sectoral reports or other investor support documentation, will also need to be provided for inclusion on the MIA website and distribution on social media.
