The designation in the technical specification and the table forming part thereof serves to clearly define the nature of the Product; in addition to the specified manufacturer, origin, or type designation in the call for tenders or procurement documents, the phrase "or equivalent" must always be added. In the cases indicated where the expected specification includes a specific requirement, the contracting authority will only be able to accept the product that precisely meets the given requirement, or the product according to the requirement, for reasons of animal health and professional nutrition. The specified requirements and conditions are the minimum requirements of the contracting authority; offers for products with more favorable characteristics may also be submitted, so products with characteristics equal to or more favorable than the prescribed minimum conditions may meet the technical and commercial requirements, with the understanding that a more favorable offer will not be evaluated separately, the contracting authority...
