Purpose The purpose of this Addendum is the extension of the deadline for the Submission of Bids by various bidders for the following; TENDER FILE FOR OPEN NATIONAL INVITATION TO TENDER Nº 12/ONIT /MINDDEVEL/EC/FEICOM/ ECITB /NWR/2026 OF 21/10//2026 FOR THE REHABILITATION OF ELAK OKU COUNCIL TOWN HALL IN ELAK COUNCIL AREA, BUI DIVISION OF THE NORTH WEST REGION (THROUGH EMERGENCY PROCEDURE) and The deadline for the submission of bids for the above two projects is hereby extended from Wednesday the 04th of November 2026 to Wednesday the 11th of November 2026. 3. Reason for the extension The extension of the deadline for the submission of bids is prompted by the recent difficulties to ply the stretches of road leading to Elak Municipality and Elak Town in particular by potential bidders caused by amba terrorists under the protest that four of their gang members were neutralised by the military some few days ago and the plans to disrupt the celebration of the anniversary of the CPDM political party on the 6th of November 2026 in Oku Sub Division. This has therefore hindered potential bidders who purchased the Tender files to comply with the following essential criteria; - Attestation of site visit signed by the contractor and - Report of site visit signed by the contractor as prescribed in the Tender Files. 4. Amendments 4.1 This Addendum shall be considered an amendment to the tender files and is subject to all terms and conditions found in the tender files. 4.2 . This Addendum shall not replace or supersede any prior amendments, modifications, or other provisions of the tender files unless explicitly stated herein. 4.3 . Any conflict between the provisions of the Addendum and those of the tender files will be resolved in favour of this Addendum.
