SUBJECT OF THE COMPETITION The subject of the competition is to select an entity to whom an order will be awarded for the provision of health services for insured persons and other entitled persons, covered by the care of the Prof. Leszek Giec Upper Silesian Medical Center of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, ul. Ziołowa 45/47, 40-635 Katowice in the following scope: 1. Provision of health services in the field of anesthesiology and intensive therapy in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy and in the Multidisciplinary Operating Block, during regular working hours and medical on-call duties. 2. Participation in the procedure related to organ retrieval from a donor declared brain dead or irreversibly circulatory arrested (in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of March 22, 2010, on the detailed procedure for determining the costs of activities related to the retrieval, storage, processing, sterilization, and distribution of cells, tissues, and organs, i.e., Journal of Laws 2022, item 2093). 3. Preliminary qualification of the deceased eye tissue donor (in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of March 22, 2010, on the detailed procedure for determining the costs of activities related to the retrieval, storage, processing, sterilization, and distribution of cells, tissues, and organs). 4. Performing anesthesia for intracranial embolization. 5. Provision of health services in the field of anesthesiology and intensive therapy in the Interventional Radiology Unit, the Endoscopy Department, and the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. Services will be provided during regular working hours, regular medical on-call duties, or holiday on-call duties. Wherever in the SWKO or its annexes it is stated: Regular working hours means providing health services on weekdays (from Monday to Friday) between 7:25 AM and 3:00 PM or between 7:00 AM and 2:35 PM. Regular on-call duty means medical on-call duty performed in the afternoon and night hours on weekdays, i.e., from Monday to Friday, lasting 16 hours and 25 minutes, i.e., from 3:00 PM to 7:25 AM the next day or from 2:35 PM to 7:00 AM the next day. Holiday on-call duty means medical on-call duty performed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, lasting 24 hours, i.e., from 7:25 AM to 7:25 AM the next day or from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the next day.
