100185- Conversion of Frederiksborgvej, Bispebjerg Torv and På bjerget

The purpose of the project is to calm traffic in the northern part of Frederiksborgvej by narrowing and straightening the road over a length of approx. 560m. At the same time, Bispebjerg Torv and the area around Grundtvig's Church, called "På Bjerget", will be transformed into an attractive urban space with more room for recreation and greenery. The project involves replacing surfaces, decommissioning and optimizing parking areas, and establishing trees, planting, and new lighting. Additionally, new recreational zones with activities, specially designed elements, and standard urban furniture will be established. The project is located in Copenhagen's northwest quarter around Bispebjerg Bakke. Located in and around the construction project's extent, there are cafes, housing associations, the dance chapel, Grundtvig's Church, the cemetery, and other small businesses. During the construction process, access must be ensured and these actors and stakeholders must be considered. In the construction project, work will be carried out in areas of historical interest, and it is likely that the winning tenderer may encounter traces of ancient monuments during excavation work, which must be handled correctly. The winning tenderer shall, during the construction period, be responsible for the necessary coordination and cooperation with EDF, who is responsible for the establishment and operation of the project's new lighting system, as well as with the water feature supplier appointed by KTF. The coordination shall ensure coherent planning, timely execution, and avoidance of conflicts between the involved works. Special conditions: There are two significant constraints in the project in connection with other construction projects in the area. Emdrup Bridge is to be replaced in the spring of 2028, which is why a bus route will be diverted to Frederiksborgvej. Therefore, all works on Frederiksborgvej and Tagensvej must be completed before the planned replacement of the bridge. In addition, there is an ongoing climate project at Bispebjerg cemetery which entails the closure of the cemetery's main entrance for a period. Works in front of the main entrance must therefore be carried out simultaneously with its closure in connection with the climate project. KTF intends to use the partial payment rule in section 8, subsection 2 of the Public Procurement Act in relation to a larger recreational and/or play element to be established at Bispebjerg Torv by another contractor or supplier. The element in question is thus not covered by this tender.
