Section 2: Earthmovers with rear tiller (12 units) The subject of the contract is the supply of mechanical equipment and construction machinery for the 13 Regions of the Hellenic Territory. The purpose of this supply is to strengthen the operationally involved bodies of local government, as well as the bodies involved in emergency and short-term restoration projects, either to prevent disasters through preparatory measures and prevention actions, or to provide support following a catastrophic event, through emergency and short-term damage restoration projects, to ensure the immediate relief, decongestion, and repair of social life activities and functions, as well as the environment, complementing the work of the Fire Service. The supply concerns vehicles / means such as loaders / excavators, cranes and others to cover necessary excavation, cleaning, and road construction works. The supply of these means is accompanied by guarantees, after-sales service, as well as necessary training services, provision of literature and technical manuals, in order to ensure their successful installation and operation. This contract is divided into 11 sections, as each of them is intended to cover different operational needs and therefore has different Technical Specifications.
