„Provision of insurance services for the needs of UMBAL "St. Marina" EAD for a period of 2 (two) years“ by lots, FOR LOT NO. 1 "Professional Liability Insurance“

The subject of the public procurement is a service within the meaning of Art. 3, para. 1, item 3 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA). The subject of the public procurement is the provision of insurance services, divided into the following lots: Lot No. 1 "Professional Liability Insurance" Lot No. 2 "Motor Vehicle Insurance" Lot No. 3 "Insurance of Movable Property "Medical Equipment"" The estimated value of the current public procurement for the provision of insurance services is EUR 240,000.00 (two hundred and forty thousand euros) excluding VAT, including tax under the VAT Act, divided into three lots (LO), as follows: LO No. 1: Professional Liability Insurance – EUR 208,811.20 (two hundred and eight thousand eight hundred and eleven euros and twenty euro cents) excluding VAT, including tax under the VAT Act; LO No. 2: "Motor Vehicle Insurance" – EUR 25,053.30 (twenty-five thousand fifty-three euros and thirty euro cents) excluding VAT, including tax under the VAT Act. LO No. 3: Insurance of Movable Property "Medical Equipment" - EUR 6,135.50 (six thousand one hundred and thirty-five euros and fifty euro cents) excluding VAT, including tax under the VAT Act. Pursuant to Art. 21, para. 6 of the PPA, the Contracting Authority has the right to award lots according to the procedure applicable to the individual value of each of them, provided that the value of the respective lot does not exceed €79,998.77 for supplies and services and the total estimated value of the lots awarded in this manner does not exceed 20 percent of the total value of the procurement. In such cases, regardless of the residual value of the procurement, it shall be awarded according to the procedure applicable to the total estimated value of the entire procurement. Bearing in mind the above, the estimated value of Lot No. 1 "Professional Liability Insurance", which the Contracting Authority intends to award under the PPA procedure, is EUR 208,811.20 excluding VAT, representing 87% of the total value of the procurement. The estimated value of Lot No. 2 and Lot No. 3 - the arithmetic sum is EUR 31,188.80 (thirty-one thousand one hundred and eighty-eight euros and eighty euro cents) excluding VAT, including tax under the VAT Act, which represents 13% of the total value of the procurement and falls within the scope of Art. 20, para. 4, item 3 of the PPA. In view of the foregoing and pursuant to Art. 21, para. 6 of the PPA, Lots No. 2 and 3 will be awarded according to the procedure under Art. 20, para. 4, item 3 of the PPA, i.e., by direct award. In fulfillment of Art. 21, para. 6 of the PPA, the residual value (which is the estimated value of Lot No. 1), given its amount and the total value of the procurement, is awarded through an open procedure, awarded according to the procedure under Art. 18, para. 1, item 1 of the PPA.
