Een ambitieuze gemeente waar iedereen met plezier kan wonen, leven, recre?ren, ondernemen en werken. Samen met inwoners, bedrijven en organisaties maakt de gemeente deze ambitie mogelijk. Een ruimtelijke sfeer met pittoreske dorpen, stoere boerderijen en prachtige natuur. Maar ook een gemeente met een stedelijk karakter, nog geen kwartier rijden van de stad Groningen. Ons nieuwe Huis van Cultuur en Bestuur is voorzien van een theater, bibliotheek, muziekschool en grand caf?, kortom een prachtige ontmoetingsplek voor zowel inwoners als collega's. Een gemeente met grote kwaliteiten, maar ook met uitdagingen, zoals sociale achterstanden en aardbevingsproblematiek. Waarom wij op zoek zijn naar jou? Het domein Leefomgeving bestaat uit de teams Projecten & Grondzaken, VTH (vergunningverlening, toezicht en handhaving), Ruimtelijke en Economische ontwikkeling, Beheer Openbare ruimte, Afvalinzameling & Rioolbeheer, Gebiedsbeheer en een Stafbureau. Daarnaast maakt het programma Duurzaamheid & Energie onderdeel uit van dit domein. Alles wat in de leefomgeving gebeurt willen we integraal aanpakken. De gevolgen van de gaswinning, energietransitie, de nieuwe Omgevingswet, voldoende betaalbare woningen realiseren; Midden-Groningen kent veel grote uitdagingen. Dankzij de hulp van het Nationaal Programma Groningen kunnen wij volop investeren in een omgeving die klaar is voor de toekomst. Het team Projecten & Grondzaken speelt hierin een belangrijke rol. Samen met jouw 20 collega?s in je team houd jij je voornamelijk bezig met projecten in de fysieke leefomgeving, bestaande uit gebiedsontwikkelingen, (maatschappelijke) vastgoedopgaven en woning-bouwopgaven.
