In advance, AFREY GmbH conducted an acoustic study in 2022 using SoundPLAN software, which shows the exact extent of noise emissions to the surrounding residential areas (Appendix 7). Based on the determined eligibility requirements, variants were then listed which appear to be the most suitable from an economic perspective (and accordingly reduce the noise level) while complying with the limits according to BImSchV3. As preferred solutions, taking into account the "cost-benefit ratio", road-side noise barriers of varying heights were used, which are intended to offer optimal emission protection. The detailed variant comparison is comprehensively presented in an explanatory report and should be consulted (Appendix 7). The B73 transitions into an embankment at the beginning of section 325. At station 0, there is a bridge structure that crosses the L124 Harsefelder Straße. Information on the bridge structure B73 / Harsefelder Straße: - Structure No.: 2422509 - Structure Name: Crossing of B 73 over L 124 in section 325, Station 0 - Type of construction: Slab bridge - Material: Reinforced concrete - Construction: Non-prestressed reinforced concrete slab over 1 span - Length: 10.50 m - Width: 14.75 m - Area: 155 m2 The bridge structure is to be renewed in the future and is therefore not affected by the planned noise reduction measures. Due to the lane changes, it falls within the scope of the Road Traffic Noise Ordinance (BimSchV). Further crossing structures: - Crossing of B 73 section 310, Station 2174 Reinforced concrete full frame (No.: 2422508) - Crossing of B 73 section 325, Station 707 Reinforced concrete full frame (No.: 2422514) - Crossing of B 73 section 325, Station 743 Reinforced concrete slab over railway line (No.: 2422510) - Crossing of B 73 section 325, Station 879 Reinforced concrete slab over railway line (No.: 2422511) Drainage: The roadway and the shared pedestrian and cycle path currently drain via the embankments into the parallel side ditches. The roadway has a crown profile in its cross-slope. The cycle path, on the other hand, has a one-sided cross-slope and drains into the ditch running to the north. Since the installation of the noise barriers in the northern and southern areas along the B 73 is associated with tight space conditions, a possible adaptation of the drainage must be considered. Connection to rainwater pipes and basins should be checked. Drainage behind the noise barriers to the north and south is also a possible option. The northern drainage of the cycle path must also be taken into account here. This could then possibly drain into the same channel as the roadway. For the inspection and processing of the drainage of the noise barriers, REwS4 and RAB-ING5, among others, must be observed. Existing pipelines: There are several existing pipelines from various utility companies in the area to be planned, including Stadtwerke Stade, EWE Netz GmbH, and the City of Stade. The existing plans will be provided separately as an appendix and must be taken into account in the planning. Unexploded ordnance investigation: An investigation for unexploded ordnance has been commissioned. The result is still pending. It will be submitted after receipt.
