The City of Flin Flon is inviting tenders from qualified contractors for the supply, placement, and compaction of asphalt pavement on designated municipal roadways, including two (2) roadway assets under the jurisdiction of Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI).The Work consists of asphalt paving on selectedmain roads onlywithin the City of Flin Flon. No back lanes or laneways are included in this contract.The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:Surface preparation, including milling, grading, and localized base repairs as requiredSupply, hauling, and placement of hot mix asphaltAsphalt paving and compaction on designated main roadwaysTie-ins to existing pavement and transitions at intersections and approachesAdjustment of manholes, valves, and catch basins to final gradeTraffic control in accordance with applicable Manitoba standardsCoordination and compliance with Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure requirements for work occurring on MTI-controlled assetsCleanup and restoration of disturbed areasAll work shall be carried out in accordance with City of Flin Flon specifications, Manitoba Infrastructure standards, and applicable codes and regulations.The locations, estimated quantities, and specific MTI assets included in the Work will be identified in the tender documents.
