Summary
DFO’s Ecosystem and Oceans Science Sector requires a contractor to provide a global-class, deep-sea research vessel—with crew and scientific personnel—for Fall 2026. The vessel will support oceanographic surveys and scientific research across Canadian Atlantic waters, including work under the Atlantic Zone Monitoring Program (AZMP).
This need arises from a gap in Canadian research vessel capacity following the retirement of the CCGS Hudson, and will remain until a new vessel becomes operational.
Period of the Contract:
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2027 inclusive.
Option to Extend the Contract:
