Description
The 2026 Territorial Drive Widening Phase 1 & 2 Project is intended to improve traffic operations, safety, and roadway capacity along a key transportation corridor within the City. The project will be completed in two phases and focuses on enhancing vehicle maneuverability, reducing turning conflicts, and accommodating the operational requirements of larger vehicles, including commercial trucks, transit vehicles, and emergency services.Phase 1 consists of widening the intersection of Territorial Drive and the adjacent Service Road. The improvements are intended to provide increased turning radii and additional pavement width to facilitate safer and more efficient turning movements for vehicles entering and exiting the intersection.Additionally, the project includes an overlay of the southbound lanes to extend the service life of the existing pavement.Phase 2 consists of widening the northbound lanes of Territorial Drive from the Carlton Trail intersection to the Airport Road intersection. The roadway widening will provide additional lane width and improved traffic flow along this heavily traveled section of roadway.
All Contractors qualified to preform the Work outlined in these Bid Documents, including the responsibilities of Prime Contractor, are invited to bid to preform the Work on the City of North Battleford’s 2026 Territorial Drive Widening Phase 1 & 2. Last date to submit questions: August 4, 2026. Closing Date: August 6, 2026.
