De hier bedoelde opdracht heeft tot doel de realisatie van een fiets- en voetgangersbrug over de Leie met de bijhorende infrastructuurwerken en omgevingsaanleg, de zogenaamde Fietsbrug Fabiolalaan (projectnaam). De fietsbrug maakt de verbinding tussen het project Rinkkaai en de Vissersdijk (het jaagpad langsheen de Blaarmeersen).
