2026/HFB/OP/157444 - 1 - Renovation study for town hall and rectory in Doel

The subject of the contract is the study of the renovation of 2 sites in the village of Doel: the town hall and the rectory. The rectory consists of 2 buildings, namely a dwelling and a coach house. Both sites must be given a new purpose according to the project definitions attached to this contract. The contractor will be given the most extensive mandate, including, among other things, the landscaping works in the private area around the properties. The supervision of the execution of the works up to and including the final acceptance is also included in the mandate. The contract is explained in detail in chapter 5 of this document, namely the technical specifications. Both sites have been abandoned for a long time and are in very poor condition. Other construction projects are planned or ongoing simultaneously in the village, so coordination between the different projects will likely be useful. Neither site is on the list of protected heritage, but they are on the inventory of built heritage. The local heritage manager is involved in the project and will provide advice during the study phase. The sites are not part of a protected village view, landscape, or archaeological zone.
