De Oostvaarderskliniek in Almere is een forensisch psychiatrisch centrum (FPC). Gericht op de veiligheid van de samenleving behandelt FPC de Oostvaarderskliniek (OVK) patiënten met aantoonbaar risicovol gedrag, zowel klinisch als ambulant. Naast patiënten met een tbs-maatregel richt de kliniek zich ook op patiënten met een andere juridische titel. De behandeling, die door FPC de Oostvaarderskliniek wordt uitgevoerd, leidt tot vermindering van het risicogedrag van patiënten, waarmee de tbs-kliniek een aantoonbare bijdrage levert aan de veiligheid van de samenleving.
De huidige energievoorziening van de kliniek heeft zijn grens bereikt. De huidige transformator en verdeler worden thans maximaal belast. De installatie voldoet niet aan de laatste eisen van de Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen (DJI). Om deze redenen moet de huidige stroomvoorziening geheel worden vervangen. De opdracht betreft directievoering en toezicht op de bouwkundige en installatietechnische werkzaamheden.
