Description

The City of Ballarat seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the day-to-day operation and management of the Ballarat Regional Landfill. The Contractor will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Ballarat Regional Landfill in accordance with EPA Victoria licence requirements and relevant legislation. Key services include: Landfill operations: Waste acceptance, inspection, placement, compaction, and daily cover application. Environmental management: Control of litter, dust, odour, noise, stormwater, leachate, and landfill gas systems. Compliance and reporting: Record keeping, monitoring, and reporting to meet EPA and Council requirements.
