The Qualification System is for the Supply of Electric Drive Compressor Packages. The scope includes the compressor unit, electric motor, ancillary systems, emergency shutdown system, and integration support. The boundaries of the scope are clearly defined to ensure clarity in deliverables. Scope of Supply: 1. Provision of Electric Drive Compressor package including: - Electric motor; and - Natural gas centrifugal compressor. 2. Provision of all ancillary supporting systems including: - Control system PLC 3. Provision of emergency shutdown system for the package Scope Boundaries Included within the scope: • Compressor unit: The physical compressor itself (e.g., centrifugal, reciprocating, screw) and its associated components like the rotor, casing, and any internal seals. • Electric motor: The motor driving the compressor, including its housing, stator, rotor, and any cooling systems. • Variable Frequency Drive (VFD): If used, the VFD that controls the motor's speed and power. • Coupling: The mechanical link between the motor and compressor. • Assistance with Integration of EMD to existing station systems and compressors. • Local instrumentation and control system: Sensors, gauges, and control systems for monitoring and controlling the compressor's operation. This includes pressure, temperature, flow rate, and vibration monitoring. • Lubrication system: If applicable, the system that provides lubrication to the compressor and motor. • Cooling system: If applicable, the system that removes heat generated by the compressor and motor. • Start-up and shutdown systems: Components and controls for safely starting and stopping the compressor. • Safety systems: Shutdown systems and interlocks for preventing equipment damage and ensuring personnel safety.
