Description
The Agency issues approximately 3,500 new Purchase Orders (POs) annually, amounting to commitments of around 130 M. Currently the Purchase Orders are being processed by different Purchase Offices on the various ESA establishments. ESAC, ESOC, ESRIN and ESTEC have their own Purchase Office implant, of which ESTEC is also executing the purchases of HQ, ECSAT, EAC and ESEC. The objectives of the service are to set up the purchase service for all ESA establishments into one single service and to process a wide variety of Purchase Orders, ranging from off-the shelf items to highly complex POs requiring legal knowledge and contractual expertise.
