In this method, the client provides the bidding time quantity book at the time of bidding, and bidders participate in the bidding utilizing the quantities listed in the bidding time quantity book. If doubts arise regarding the quantities after the conclusion of the construction contract, the client and the contractor can discuss the quantities based on the bidding time quantity book. The quantities listed in the bidding time quantity book do not require the submission of a construction cost breakdown based on those quantities or the execution of the work after the contract is concluded.
(2) If doubts arise regarding the quantities listed in the bidding time quantity book, the contractor shall immediately request a discussion. However, a discussion cannot be requested if the work related to the doubt has been completed.
(3) A discussion under (1) requested by the contractor can only be conducted if the quantities related to the doubt in the bidding time quantity book are confirmed to be the same as the corresponding quantities in the construction cost breakdown.
(4) The discussion in (1) (including when requested by the client) shall be conducted based on the bidding time quantity book. However, this excludes items where the quantity is listed as "one set" in the detailed breakdown of the bidding time quantity book (excluding items where construction conditions are specified in the design documents).
