The tender aims to identify a competent partner for the site who can economically and efficiently manage the catering services through professional development of the gastronomic concept, taking into account the conceptual and gastronomic requirements. The goal is to meet the special requirements of GIZ, particularly regarding sustainability, while strictly adhering to the given framework conditions, in order to provide optimal catering for employees and guests. The staff restaurants in the Mäanderbau and Campus Forum have approximately 320 and 200 seats, respectively. For lunch service, the canteen in the Mäanderbau at the Bonn site must offer three menu lines plus a salad bar for self-service. These must be structured as follows: - 1 line vegan/vegetarian - 1 line meat or fish dish - 1 line as GIZ menu The future GIZ menu is characterized by a fixed issue price for the plate dish, regardless of its type, and includes one of the following additional components: soup of the day, side salad, or dessert. The current issue price of the GIZ menu in Bonn is EUR 6.60 and is to be harmonized with the issue price of the GIZ menu in Eschborn in the future. Accordingly, a fixed issue price of EUR 6.60 plus a percentage increase of the benefit-in-kind value as of 01.01.2026 is to be assumed at the start of the contract. The exact issue price in 2026 will be communicated to bidders during the procedure, so that this information can be taken into account in the bidders' calculations. The offering of breakfast and intermediate catering at the coffee bar in the Mäanderbau is generally based on the requirements for lunch service. Accordingly, variety, freshness, and responsible use of goods are also required here. Otherwise, the AG leaves the creative and independent concept design of the intermediate catering to the AN. Requirements for fully automatic coffee machines, vending machines - and deposit machines as well as tea kitchen equipment The fully automatic coffee machines, vending machines, and deposit machines are provided by the AG and are owned by them. The AG bears the costs for repairs and maintenance of the machines; the AN supports repairs and maintenance in a coordinating role and reports defects/malfunctions immediately to the AG. The fully automatic coffee machines must be operational and fully functional at least from Monday to Friday between 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM. In the meantime, they must be cleaned and refilled. Sufficient time must be allocated to start up all fully automatic machines. Furthermore, care must be taken to ensure that an adequate number of coffee cups, spoons, sugar, and sweetener are always available. Requirements for conference catering If required, food and beverages can be booked for conferences or meetings. Service hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Exceptions must also be possible by agreement. These special agreements must be communicated at least five working days before the event.
