To obtain highly accurate estimation results, it is important to efficiently collect good samples during field surveys and reduce failures in genetic analysis of samples. For example, when setting the size and location of the survey area, consideration must be given not only to the brown bear's habitat but also to the road network and the distribution range of the target population. Next, to effectively collect samples, it is important to know how to place the hair collection devices and the environmental conditions of the installation site.
