This tender seeks a Project Manager for the Energy department within Campus & Facilities. The role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle for various energy initiatives, from initial preparation and procurement through to execution and handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project oversight, driving progress, and ensuring successful integration of projects within the organization. The projects are located at the Utrecht Science Park, the University College Utrecht campus, and in the city center. The scope includes managing both electricity and heat supply systems, encompassing installations such as combined heat and power plants, solar parks, thermal energy storage (ATES) systems, and boiler houses. This position directly contributes to the sustainability goals of the university's real estate and that of external partners, including Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and student housing facilities. Key responsibilities include improving existing energy installations and their management, preparing and directing energy projects from design to completion, monitoring schedule, budget, quality, and progress (GROTIK), coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, users), managing tender and procurement processes in collaboration with the procurement department, and working with the asset manager to ensure smooth project handover to operations and maintenance. Each bidding party is permitted to nominate one candidate.

This is a services contract in the energy and power, architecture and engineering and construction and civil works sectors, with a focus on Energy Efficiency, Project Management and Renewable Energy.
