Description of the Measure The DEGES GmbH, as the contracting authority, intends to expand sections of the A1 between the Münster-Süd motorway junction (AK) and the Lotte/Osnabrück AK to six lanes. The project owner of the measure is the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Autobahn GmbH des Bundes, represented by DEGES GmbH. As part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-V), the A1 has a large-scale and supra-regional connecting function. On the A1, up to 75,000 vehicles/24h are predicted daily between the Münster-Süd AK and the Osnabrück-Hafen junction (AS) by 2030. The proportion of heavy goods traffic will be around 25% in 2030. The section of the A1 to be expanded to six lanes has a length of approx. 36.80 km and is divided into a total of six planning approval sections. The entire section is to be expanded to 6 lanes. The background is the adaptation of the capacity within the framework of the designation of the A1 section as part of the trans-European TEN network due to the traffic forecast according to BVWP and the bridge reinforcement. The subject of the present tender is the planning-accompanying surveying for construction section 3. Construction Section 3: Construction section 3 extends over a length of approx. 7.525 km on the A1. It is divided into the sub-sections o BA 3.1 from station 17+900 to station 23+639 (approx. operational km 246.10 to approx. operational km 251.84) o BA 3.2 from station 24+398 to station 25+425 (approx. operational km 252.60 to approx. operational km 253.63) Between these two sub-sections lies the already completed section around the DEK bridge with a length of 0.759 km. Construction section 3 includes a total of o 1 rainwater retention basin, o 3 overpasses, o 7 motorway bridges (partial structures), o 4 new traffic sign gantries, o 3 traffic sign gantries as replacement new constructions, o 2 parking lots with dismantling. Scope of Services For the further planning of traffic facilities and civil engineering structures in the area of construction section 3, planning-accompanying surveying services are to be provided. The subject of the contract is surveying services for the creation of a consistent planning basis for the present construction measure. Based on local data acquisition through terrestrial surveying and other data to be procured and incorporated, the existing situation in the planning area is to be mapped. The following services are to be provided: o Determination of surveying fundamentals, o Creation of a project-related fundamental network, o Local basic data acquisition, o Processing of a digital terrain model, o Creation of surveying fundamental plans, o Creation of digital terrain models. Chapter B of the provided service description details the surveying services to be provided.
