ABG257 - Maintenance inspection of civil engineering structures category A

The Province of Gelderland has divided all approximately 7,000 objects in its area into three categories, depending on factors such as the size and complexity of the object. The assignment includes the inspection of all objects in category A, the largest and technically most interesting objects. These include the following objects (in no particular order): N301 Movable bridge over the Arkervaart N302 Aqueduct Veluwemeer N323 Prins Willem Alexander Bridge N325 Pleij Bridges N348 Pol Bridge over the Twentekanaal N348 Traverse near Dieren N781 Viaduct de Poortwachter N811 Bridges over the Rijnstrang N314 Masonry bridge near Bronckhorst N848 Bridge over the Linge near Leerdam N327 Bridge near Geldermalsen River de Linge two swing gates in Lingedijk and Langendijk The intention is to inspect each of the above-mentioned objects approximately every 2 years. The duration of the full assignment will be approximately 8 years. Each object will therefore be inspected 4 times during the term of the assignment. The assignment consists, in accordance with CUR117:2020, of: Inventory (check) of all fixed data (B1); Performing a condition inspection (B2) supplemented by a condition measurement in accordance with NEN2767-4; Determining the decomposition according to NEN2767 version 1.6 and the generic decomposition framework of the Province of Gelderland, recording defects, scope, and associated repair advice (B5); Establishing RAMSSHEEP criteria and scores (C1 risk analysis) based on RAMSSHEEP criteria; Preparing a multi-year cost plan and associated estimate (C2). Based on these results, reliable statements should be made about the necessary investments for minor and major maintenance and/or replacements of the considered structures. In addition, it should be indicated whether further research on certain civil engineering structures is necessary as part of the repair advice and multi-year plan and estimate. The inspections contribute to keeping the management information of the structural asset Actual, Reliable, and Complete (ABC).
