- The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received a loan from the financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Climate Resilience Multiphase Programmatic Approach (CResMPA) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract.
- The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee on behalf of Climate Resilience Multiphase Programmatic Approach now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply, Procurement of Accessories of Requested Equipment for Completing Real-Time Air Quality Sensor of Monitoring Network for National Building Research Institute. Implementation period: Two months. Warranty, Support and Maintenance: Period: 2 years.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” February 2026 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Bidder must meet the following minimum qualification criteria
- General Experience:
Bidder should have general experience in supply similar products/Instrument/ equipment’s in the role of contractor/Supplier, at least five (5) years prior to the bid submission deadline.
- Financial Capacity:
- Minimum required Average Annual Turnover for the successful Bidder in the last three years shall be LKR 75 million;
- Minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments of the successful Bidder shall be LKR 20 million.

5. The bidding document in the English language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of LKR. 15,000.00 from September 14, 2026, between 9.00 am to 3.30 pm on any working day. The method of payment will be Cash.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 05, 2026 at 2.00 p.m. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Bank Guarantee: LKR 900,000.00.
8. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be arranged at 10:00 a.m. on September 18, 2026, in the Conference Room at the address given below.
