- The PRETE Project Management Unit requests sealed bids from eligible bidders who meet the required qualifications to supply equipment for the appropriate IT infrastructure for the National Financial Intelligence Unit (CNRF) of BURUNDI, P.O. Interested and eligible bidders must demonstrate the following requirements:
(i) specific experience of at least two (02) similar contracts over the last five (05) years, including one contract with a minimum value of at least 450,000,000 FBU during any of the last five (05) years, and (ii) self-financing capacity issued by a bank for an amount of 480,000,000 FBU.
- The procurement of the Contract will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) as defined in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing Borrowers", September 2023 Edition, and open to all eligible bidders from eligible countries as defined in said Regulations.
- Eligible and interested bidders may obtain information from the PRETE Management Unit and review the bidding documents during office hours 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, working days Monday to Friday at the address mentioned below.
- Interested and eligible bidders may obtain a complete set of bidding documents in French by submitting a written request to the address mentioned below and against a non-refundable payment[1] of One Hundred Thousand Burundian Francs (100,000 BIF). The payment method for half will be a direct deposit of 50,000 BIF into account No. 1101/001.03 (transit account for non-fiscal revenue) opened at the Bank of the Republic of BURUNDI (BRB) in the name of the Burundian Revenue Authority, and the other half of 50,000 BIF into account No. 03104182383 opened at the Bank of the Republic of BURUNDI (BRB) in the name of PRETE-NYUNGANIRA.
- Bids must be submitted to the address below no later than 11/8/2026 at 10:00 AM. Electronic bid submission will not be permitted. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of bidder representatives and any person choosing to attend at the address mentioned below on the same day at 10:30 AM.
- All bids must include a Bid Security, for an amount of
9,000,000 FBU or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency in accordance with the model provided in Section IV of the Bidding Documents.
- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the beneficial ownership of the successful bidder, as part of the Notification of Award, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
