The Social Change School is looking for a part-time Administration & Financial Officer - Coordinator. In this role, you will hold organizational autonomy to manage the financial accounting, invoicing, budget tracking, and day-to-day administrative operations of our school. You will work in a hybrid format, dividing your time between our Madrid office and remote smart working, contributing 20 hours per week. Job Description As the Administration & Financial Officer, you will oversee all essential financial and logistical operations of the school. Your work will directly support both our executive director and our didactic teams, ensuring precise financial tracking, efficient resource planning, and reliable administrative management. You will manage business unit accounting, prepare annual budgets, handle vendor payments, coordinate travel bookings, and support the didactics department with Excel data and time management reporting. Full onboarding, coaching, and training on our organizational culture and workflows will be provided during your initial phase. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing general accounting and financial records across our various business units Managing fiscal consolidation, treasury tasks, client invoicing, and vendor payments Conducting regular budget control and compiling the annual budget with the managing director Preparing annual accounts, financial control reports, and liquidating relevant taxes Coordinating analytical accounting, analytical reviews, and reporting on European project accounts Handling administrative logistics, including travel bookings (flights, trains, car rentals) and maintenance services Supporting compliance administration tasks related to privacy (GDPR) and workplace safety policies Assisting the didactic department with Excel data elaboration and tracking staff task time management What You Should Know You will use your background in accounting, business administration, and office tools to ensure the financial health and operational smoothness of our educational programs. Your high attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and capacity to multitask will be key to maintaining our strict reporting standards. To thrive in this role, you will need a structured approach to numbers, a collaborative mindset to coordinate with international teams, and a natural affinity for working within the non-profit sector. Essential qualifications: Degree in Business Administration (ADE), Business Sciences, or a highly related discipline Proven experience in handling project accounting, including financial reporting for European projects Native or professional Spanish language skills (minimum C1 level) for handling regional paperwork Solid professional communication in English (minimum B2-C1 level) for international coordination Over three years of specific, demonstrable experience in administrative and financial management roles Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically advanced Excel, and billing systems High alignment with social impact goals, educational organizations, and non-profit sector values Your Future Team You'll join a dedicated international team focused on delivering impact through education.
