In case of a tie between 2 or more offers, it will be resolved by awarding the bidder who has obtained the highest score in the following descending criteria: ⮚Compliance with Technical Specifications ⮚Compliance with formal requirements If the tie persists, the proposal that was entered first in the system www.mercadopublico.cl will be awarded, considering the date and time recorded therein. As established in the Regulations of Law No. 19.886 on Purchases and Law 21.634, currently in force, the committee for admissibility and technical evaluation may request bidders to correct formal errors or omissions, provided that these rectifications do not grant them a privileged position with respect to other bidders, which could imply a violation of the principle of equality, nor alter the bases of this tender, or the essence of the offer. Likewise, it may request bidders to submit certifications or background information that they have omitted when making their proposal, provided that such certifications or background information were produced or obtained before the deadline for submitting their offer or refer to situations that are not subject to penalties between the deadline for submitting offers and the evaluation period. The deadline for complying with the request may not exceed 25 hours, which will be counted from when the bidder is sent a communication to that effect, through the portal www.mercadopublico.cl.
