The objective of the combined Dam Safety Review, Risk Analysis, and Dam Breach Inundation Study is to formally assess downstream consequences, establish the consequence classification, assess and evaluate the safety performance of the dam and its appurtenant structures, and determine an appropriate, risk informed level of effort for the development and implementation of a Dam Safety Management Plan, consistent with the Alberta Dam and Canal Safety Directive.
