Description

Le passage inférieur de l’avenue du Mont-Blanc, et ses liens avec les routes supérieures (Rte de Nyon et Ch. de la Crétaux), est un maillon essentiel de la mobilité douce en ce qui concerne l’accès à la gare. Cet accès revêt une importance stratégique accrue compte tenu du développement actuel du quartier des Avouillons, notamment par le projet Swissquote. Pour ces raisons, la ville de Gland a réalisé en 2020 une étude d’opportunité visant à améliorer cet accès, notamment au regard des personnes à mobilité réduite. Le développement de cette étude a mené au projet actuel consistant en la réalisation, côté Lac et Jura, d’un ascenseur ceint par 4 volées d’escalier. Ces éléments viennent remplacer les volées d’escalier existantes aux deux mêmes emplacements.
