Sortland kommune har behov for å anskaffe en parallell rammeavtale for kjøp av varer og tjenester knyttet til drift og vedlikehold av kommunale gatelysanlegg. Kommunale gatelysanlegg omfatter gatelysstolper, armaturer, strømledninger og styringssystemer mv., som er underlagt oppdragsgivers forvaltningsansvar. Drift og vedlikehold innebærer bl.a. arbeid relatert til retting av feil og mangler, i tillegg til endringer og utvidelser, av eksisterende anlegg innenfor de økonomiske rammene for avtalen. Denne rammeavtalen skal i tillegg kunne benyttes til små og mellomstore prosjekter for sanering eller nybygg. Bygging av større nyanlegg, samt større saneringsprosjekter, gjennomføres normalt som egne anskaffelser. Kontrakten vil gjelde i 2 år fra kontraktsinngåelse. Oppdragsgiver skal ha opsjon på forlengelse av avtalen på de samme betingelser med 1+1år. Opsjon forlenges automatisk med 1 år, dersom ikke leverandøren mottar skriftlig oppsigelse innen utløpsdato. Kontrakten kan likevel maksimalt vare i fire år, i tråd med gjeldende regelverk.
